How to Test Proxy IP Address Disguise in Whoer?

Nowadays, more and more industries such as the Internet, cross-border e-commerce, new media operations, etc. need to expand overseas business. Therefore, many practitioners will come into contact with overseas HTTP proxies, and this is directly linked to the stability of account operations in the work. If the quality of the IP proxy is low, the account will be very easy to be limited, and the serious is even blocked, and this is actually caused by the high IP Disguise. So today I will talk about how to test the Disguise of the overseas HTTP proxy IP network with Whoer?

What is Disguise?

First of all, IP Disguise is actually not using real IPs but using other IPs through the proxy to protect themselves. Many platforms have a relatively strict regulatory mechanism for new accounts, so IP Disguise is needed to pack new accounts as overseas users to make accounts use normally. The IP Disguise is the degree of IP Disguise, that is, the similarity of your proxy IP to the real user IP overseas. Generally speaking, it will be much safer to have an over 90% disguise.

How to test the HTTP proxy IP Disguise?

You can use some online tools to view IP Disguise, such as the Whoer tool that many people are employing.

First set your overseas HTTP proxy, then open the WHOER official website, and then wait for its inquiry results.

The following interface will appear after the query is completed:

From the figure we can see the following information:

IP address: It is your device's current IP. If the node software does not take effect, it shows the original IP.

ISP: The IP of the world is distributed by specialized organizations, and there are records. Many websites can find out which country and institutions are allocated to a certain IP. The node built by VPS will generally display IDC. If you check in China, operators such as China Unicom, Mobile, and Telecom generally appear.

Hostname: The hostname is the name of the VPN server.

Operating System: It is the system of your device. Android shows Android and Apple mobile phones display iOS.

Browser: What browser are you using to open Whoer will be displayed.

DNS: It refers to the domain name. This sometimes cannot be queried, but as long as you go online, you just need DNS, and it does not matter if it is not displayed.

Proxy server: The literal meaning is well understood, that is, whether the proxy server is used on the Internet.

Anonymizer: Whether IP uses an anonymous service, it doesn’t matter either YES or NO here.

Blacklist: IP is required to surf the Internet, and there are people who do it on the Internet. Some are used for bad things. Then there are institutions to specifically record which IPs often conduct malicious activities, such as spam. Due to a large number of records, a library of IP blacklists is formed. Some large companies will be connected to this library to prevent malicious attacks. If they find blacklist access, they can focus on monitoring. Therefore, if you query the blacklist, it is not recommended to use it to avoid being taken care of.

If the check fails to reach 100%, Whoer will give your deduction items under the results of the disguise. You can conduct relevant adaptions to make it close to 100% according to the prompts.  (also can fix the parameters in the profile setting as follow article: Whoer.Net IP Detection did not reach 100% )

It can be seen from the figure above that my disguise is only 80 %, so let's click to check where to deduct points.

DONOTTRACK: Do not track it. This function is the same as the functional significance of turning off mobile phone advertising tracking.

Language difference: The language set by your system and/or browser does not match the language of your country where your IP address is located. Therefore, you need to change the language to English in the United States and shift to Japanese in Japan.

DNS difference: DNS and time differences appear because the IP library on the detection website is not updated in real-time so not all IPs are the latest. If the proxy IP computer room is adjusted, and the IP library of the detection website is old, then the information will be incorrect. The detection website is only used for reference. Just confirm the corresponding IP and server time.

IP disguise is closely related to the IP quality of the proxy. If IP has been used by too many people, it is easy to be hacked by major websites.
